Birds of a Feather Double Kit

Birds of a Feather brings together two wonderfully characterful South African birds in one vibrant paint-by-numbers art kit — the Hypnotic Hoopoe and Kooky Kingfisher, both designed in collaboration with Stoepgallery.

The Hypnotic Hoopoe is bold, rhythmic and full of movement, with its distinctive striped wings and feathered crest surrounded by sweeping blue ribbons, bright shapes and playful swirls of lime green, pinks and deep greens. Beside it, the Kooky Kingfisher brings a completely different personality — bright, watchful and full of character, with turquoise-blue feathers, a golden chest and a lively backdrop of colourful dots, flowing shapes and a striking red-and-yellow patterned background.

Each pot has been hand-sculpted with raised, numbered details that gently guide you as you paint. Take your time working through the patterns, feathers, decorative borders and bold colour zones, watching each bird slowly come to life. The result is not simply something you've painted, but two tactile, expressive little artworks made proudly by your own hand.

Made in small batches using recycled plastic from South African rivers and beaches, the Birds of a Feather Double Kit turns painting into a slower, more thoughtful creative experience — and when the last number has disappeared beneath the paint, you’re left with two colourful pieces of functional art to enjoy in your home.
